About this Renovation

This is one of the most historic buildings in Norfolk and one of the first Nebraska Theaters. It was transformed in the '60s into a "newer" projection screen theater and had been sitting vacant since 2001. The building was in terrible disrepair, the roof was rotten, and the West side of the building was unstable. A complete renovation was completed, which involved a substantial demo of the stage area, the existing second floor, and the interior corridor. We successfully added a new second floor and added 9 amazing apartments. We are currently working to bring a venue to Norfolk that will serve the downtown area and utilize the 8000 sq ft of available space.
